Most Helpful Most Recent. Only Mrs Bennet was slightly irritating vocally Did it make you laugh or cry? Loved Rosamund's narration - there are so many versions of this book in film and actors, but I truly enjoyed how she'd done it. Very enjoyable overall. It's funny the reader's accent swithes so frequently but so perfectly. Wonderfly read by Ms.
TLS Reviewer: lreader - favorite favorite favorite favorite favorite - October 7, Subject: Nicely read Karen Savage delivers the dialogue well, adding the correct intonation and emphasis, which some other readings occasionally get wrong, which can be slightly confusing at times. I listen to the first chapter of the book read, and I though she gave the book a warm feeling. Marilize In Pride and Prejudice , the Bennett sisters try to find their way in the repressive strictures of 19th-century society. I did not do much of the audio but read the whole book and I gotta say that reading it's a must.
